Internships, Co-op and Service Learning Through Experiential Learning:
In today‘s highly competitive job market, internships and co-ops have rapidly become a prerequisite for many full-time positions. The payoff to students is invaluable: real world experience, evidence of future job-worthiness, and contacts in the field of interest. Employers reap the rewards of more highly functioning new employees. This workshop explores the options available to gain experiential education whether paid or unpaid, or for credit or not for credit. Although similar to your job search, securing a co-op or internship opportunity can have unique requirements. The faculty from the Office of Experiential Learning offer this workshop in collaboration with Career Services.

Register to use Career Services recruitment management and online resume system--KnightLink--to access hundreds of part-time and full-time job opportunities locally, nationally and throughout the world. This workshop teaches students how to effectively manage their job search through KnightLink recruiting system, including accessing detailed job listing information, company contacts and an online calendar of employment events as well as posting their resumes for review by companies that target UCF students and alumni. Learn more about successful on-campus recruiting and interviewing and how the hiring process works to utilize this system to its fullest capacity.
