NACE Definition of a Third-Party Recruiter
- According to the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE), third-party recruiters are defined as agencies, organizations, or individuals recruiting candidates for temporary, part-time or full-time employment opportunities other than for their own needs.
- This includes entities that refer or recruit for profit or not for profit, and it includes agencies that collect student information to be disclosed to employers for purposes of recruitment and employment.
UCF Career Center Recruiting Services Available to Third-Party Recruiters
- Third Party Recruiters must complete the following Third Party Statement Policy and fax it to our office at 407-823-5909 before gaining access to our services.
- Third-party recruiters who are hiring for positions within their own organization will be granted access to post those positions on KnightLink and be granted on-campus recruiting privileges.
- Third Party Recruiters will not be given access to our online Resume Book/Resume Search.
- Third-party recruiters who are hiring for positions outside their own organization may post those positions on KnightLink provided they identify the client(s) they represent within the job descriptions. Career Services reserves the right to verify this information.
- Third-party recruiters may participate in career fairs, although, as with job postings, they must identify the client(s) they are representing.
Conditions
- By participating in these services, organizations agree that they will adhere to EEO standards in all recruiting activities, that no fee will be charged to any candidate at any time, and that organizations will not disclose student information under any circumstances to other entities without the student‘s prior written consent.
Career Services adheres to the aforementioned policies and guidelines to ensure the quality of our services and reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. UCF reserves the right to terminate an employer account for violation of Career Services policies.
