The purpose of the alumni policy is to clarify what CS services and resources are available to alumni.
UCF Career Services’ primary mission is to address the career development and planning needs of our 49,000+ student population. As such, our funding level and staff expertise are geared toward addressing issues typical of this student population. While a number of services and programs (see below) are available, as a result of resource constraints and to ensure appropriate response to their unique needs and concerns, alumni may not access UCF CS individualized counseling and advising services. Alumni are encouraged to secure the services of qualified community organizations and professionals (see below) for such assistance.
- All CS services are available for alumni for one academic semester following their graduation date.
- Graduated in Fall, eligible through Spring Semester
- Graduated in Spring, eligible through Fall Semester
- Graduated in Summer, eligible through Fall Semester
2. Any alumni who are past this one semester service period can continue to use the following self-directed services at no cost:
CS website informational resources (i.e., MyPlan, Choices, Occupational Outlook Handbook, Petersons Guide, Vault)
Career Library
Workshops (onsite and online versions)
Major Events (i.e., Career Expo, Graduate & Professional Schools Day, Employment Prep Fair/ExpoMania)
KnightLink is available at no additional charge
